Thermoforming machines form, fill them and attach film to trays. They use industrial plastic in a roll, suitable for food, which with the appropriate molds is shaped into a tray, in the desired size & shape.

Then the formed tray is filled with the product, the atmospheric air is removed to the desired degree and sealed by film. The result is an airtightly sealed package in vacuum.
